There's now a Search button on your iPhone Home Screen! It's the same search access you could use from swiping down from the middle of the Home Screen before.
You can use Search to access lots of things:
- Suggestions from apps
- Suggests Shortcuts actions
- Content of many files on your device
- Search for something on the web or in a specific app.
The search is great for searching for apps by name instead of hunting for them on your app screens. This can keep your Home Screen cleaner, if you don't need to keep as many apps visible.
Not everyone was excited to see search on the Home Screen, and there’s a setting to turn this search “button” off or on, and Brittany will show you how!
