Install the Apple Support App

 Just do it.

The Apple Support App is easy, it's free, and you can do chat and phone support from wherever you are. They can run diagnostics and walk you through troubleshooting. You can even arrange to ship in a device for repair if that's needed (that part isn't usually free, but it's usually quality and affordable).

While I love helping people with their devices, I'm not free. If something is broken, it's cheaper to go to Apple support first. I'll still be right here for you when you want to improve how you use your devices.
